Vaccination of Siberian cats and kittens is no different from vaccination of cats in general.

There is a lot of information on this topic on the Internet, so I write briefly and clearly, only the important things.

Varieties of vaccinations for cats

Vaccinations can be conditionally divided into mandatory and recommended. Mandatory vaccinations in Belarus include panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. The recommended ones are chlamydia, viral leukemia, microsporia, viral peritonitis. Vaccinations are carried out annually! Three of the mandatory antiviral vaccinations (panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus) are routinely administered with one vaccine. Only one vaccine is given at a time.

Mandatory vaccinations for cats and cats in Belarus

Vaccination of cats and cats in Belarus occurs by age:

  • 8 weeks - primarily panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus;
  • 10-12 weeks - revaccination of panleukopenia, rhinotracheitis, calicivirus;
  • 10-12 weeks - rabies is primary.

Annual revaccination.

Recommended vaccinations for cats in Belarus

  • 8 weeks - primarily microsporia, chlamydia, viral leukemia;
  • 12 weeks - revaccination of microsporia, chlamydia, viral leukemia;
  • 16 weeks - primary viral peritonitis;
  • 22 week - revaccination of viral peritonitis.

Annual revaccination.

The number of additional vaccinations is determined in conjunction with the treating veterinarian and with the obligatory consideration of the lifestyle and habitat of the cat. Large numbers of vaccinations are discouraged. The principle of rationality is also important here.

All Siberian kittens born in our country we carry out compulsory vaccinations according to this calendar, and we also carry out deworming of kittens a month before vaccinations. We also install microchips under the withers of our kittens at the age of two months in accordance with the requirements of the World Cat Federation (WCF). In the veterinary certificate of our kittens you will find marks about all vaccinations carried out.

Best regards, Natalia!
